2018 TIGERS ON THE COLUMBIA (TOTC) – Ted Knapp and Wally Santella led a post event discussion recap about the 2018 Tigers on the Columbia.  The general consensus of those attending members who also attended the 2018 event was that this year’s Tigers on the Columbia was a success.  Detailed monetary results were not discussed as we are still gathering the information and will be prepared to discuss in detail at next month’s meeting.  Ted announced that we had 96 room nights at the Shilo Inn and 44 room nights at the Marriott Courtyard,  Some of the members who attended the event also went over to examine the Mustang Show which was held at a park on the Columbia about a mile from our event.  The Mustang show was out in the open sunlight and again, the consensus opinion of our members was that they would prefer the tree shading of the Howard Amon Park, with some tree weepage  over the direct sunlight of the Mustang Show location.  Ted suggested that our plan for 2019 was to contract with the Red Lion and hold our Event Registration and Banquet at the Red Lion hotel in 2019.  There were no objections to this plan.  Total number of cars registered was set at 92.  Ed Forsyth requested that the P.A. system mike be located at the finger next year to make it easier to announce raffle ticket winners and other announcements. Bill Nelson reported that the Western Washington Firebirds are interested in a mutual Xmas Party this year.

Ted Knapp identified the following events that are scheduled for 2018, including the GTOAA Nationals – June 26-30 at Valley Forge, PA, the POCI All Pontiac show – July 14 at Griots Garage, the XXX Muscle Car Meet – August 12th, at the XXX Drive-Inn in Issaquah, WA, the Western Washington Firebirds All Pontiac Show & Shine – August 19th, the Mark Bilyeu Pontiac Picnic-In-The-Park – at Mud Mountain Dam in Enumclaw, the American Muscle Car Show – September 8th, at Griot’s Garage in Tacoma, WA, the Pacific Raceway’s Vintgage Car Race  – July 1st, in Kent, WA, and the Greenwood Car Show – June 30th, in Seattle, WA.
