Northwest Legends Club Meeting Minutes
(November 3, 2018)

MEETING OPENED:
Meeting called to order at 6:00pm by our Club President, Ted Knapp at the Round Table Pizza in Burien, WA.

ATTENDENCE:
November’s Club meeting was attended by 26 members.

GUESTS & NEW MEMBERS:
There were no guests or new members at this meeting.

SECRETARIES REPORT:
Wally Santella,
our Club Secretary, gave a brief summary of last month’s meeting minutes, which where also posted our our Club website.

TREASURES REPORT:
Tom Willett, our Club Treasurer, presented the November Treasurers Report, which contained the starting and ending balances of our Clubs financial transaction, for its three Bank Cash Accounts, for the previous month.

CORRESPONDENCE:
Wally Santella
read the contents of an email from Patrick Covello who has some wing windows and hardware for sale, for a 65 GTO.

COMMITTEE REPORTS:
DONATIONS SUBCOMMITTEE – Tom Willett
addressed the membership and made a motion that we complete the scholarship donations that the Club membership had approved by ballot count, and cut checks of $2,000 to the Lake Washington Institute of the Technology (Automotive Program) and $2,500 to the Renton Technical Collage Fund (Automotive Program).  The motion was passed by the attending membership.

2018 TIGERS ON THE COLUMBIA (TOTC) – Ted Knapp and Wally Santella address the membership on a new activity that is planned for the 2019 Tigers on the Columbia event.  Ted and Wally talked about a Sunday Cruise from Yakima to Ellensburg with a picnic lunch during the cruise and an overnight stay (for some) in Ellensburg, including a get-together dinner, and then returning to home the next morning.  Ted and Wally will continue to work out the details and get a sense of the level of interest going forward, with more discussion with the membership in the future.

OLD BUSINESS:
Tom Willett
continued the ongoing conversation about shortening some of our summer Club meetings to make car cruise visits to other locations.  Bill Nelson added that we consider having some meetings at other outside locations as well.

NEW BUSINESS:
Ted Knapp
called for officer position nominations, especially for President, Secretary and Treasurer as the current officers in those positions would like to retire from their roles.  No new nominations were raised.

SHOP TALK:
Wally Santella
gave a brief update on the restoration of 5 Rally II wheels that are part of the Darin Warren 1968 GTO Convertible frame-off Restoration Project. 

50/50 RAFFLE:
No 50/50 Club Raffle was held, as Gary Tischer was missing from the meeting and he has the 50/50 Raffle tickets.

MEETING ADJORNED:
The club’s business meeting adjourned at 7:30pm by our President, Ted Knapp.  Our next meeting will be at the 13 Coins Resturant on Hwy 99, across from the Sea-Tac Airport, on December 1st, at 5:00pm.
