Tigers on the Columbia – Wally reported that a serious issue with insurance has come up. JC Taylor changed their policy so that they will not insure any event with cars moving. This insurance is through GTOAA. GTOAA is working to get a new policy with another company within 2 weeks. Hotel reservations are going well. Event registrations are at 18 so far. The largest number of entries so far is for 2004-2006 GTOs and 64-66 convertibles. There was also discussion about cruising to the event. Ted Knapp gave a presentation showing Rocky Reach Dam Park near Wenatchee where the show will be in 2023. The two hotels, Coast Hotel and Red Lion are 15-20 minutes away from the park. The Coast Hotel is the better of the two. Banquet would be at the Wenatchee Convention Center, which will also have tech check in and registration, also trailer parking.
Bill Nelson would like to have this year’s Christmas party at the Thunderdome Car Museum in Enumclaw again.
Bill Nelson also wants to revise the Bylaws so that the club officer elections are in November instead of at the Christmas party.
No new business was discussed.
SHOP TALK: Wally and Bill shared shop talk stories.
The club’s business meeting adjourned at 7:30pm by our President, Bill Nelson. Our next business meeting will be at the Round Table Pizza in Burien on April 2nd.
